Soul Food Farm is surrounded by rolling hills, ancient oaks, lavender fields and olive trees. The farm  is a magical place of natural beauty and elegance. There’s definitely a sense of romance that moves in the breeze. Now that life on our little farm has slowed down we want to share what we love about the farm with family and friends. There are free tours (tours are announced on Soul Food Farm facebook page) and the farm stand is open Thursdays – Sunday 8-6.

Starting this year Soul Food Farm can now be rented for special events.  Weddings, reunions, farm to table dinners and even slumber parties in the orchard.

If you are interested in having your event at the farm, contact Alexis (707 365 1798) and she can talk with you more about the details of renting the farm.  She can also share her list of amazing and talented chefs, photographers and stylist she has come to know over the years.

The Rain Dance

Everyone is thinking  about the weather  and now its time to dance to Mother Earth and ask for rain. On Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 from 11 a.m to 3 p.m we are coming together at the farm as a collective to share our intention for a healthy earth and the desire for rain. Invite friends, loved ones, soul mates!!

Bring food, blankets, chairs, hats, water, drums , rattles and your ground  stomping ass kicking dancing boots. There will also be an alter under the oak tree for you to bring an offering for rain.

Wear something blue to represent water. American Indians use to wear turquoise jewelry to represent water during the rain dance.

There will be music all day and a moment of unity at 12.30 p.m. So, come walk through the magic gates of Soul Food Farm, dance in an open field and raise your voice for rain and Mother Nature.
